Most research indicates that this plateau happens after about 3 weeks – so that is why insanity is based around 3 weeks of hard activity then a week of recovery. Month 2, for me, never got "easier" but I was able to do it and not take as many breaks as the weeks went on. I ended up stopping with a week left. One thing that I try to do is...when I start getting tired , or I think I just cant do anymore... push thru it and go 10 more seconds, or 5 more reps.
