On June 17, Anderson Cooper announced that his mother, Gloria Vanderbilt, had died at the age of 95. He resurfaced to attend the premiere of the movie, Nothing Left Unsaid based on his family. Christopher Stokowski was one two sons born to wealthy socialite, Gloria Vanderbilt and conductor Leopold Stokowski. Gloria gave birth to son Chris on January 31, 1952 -he is the the younger of Vanderbilt’s two sons with second husband Leopold Stokowski. He became a recluse for 38 years, his whereabouts unknown. Chris’s older brother is Leopold Stanislaus Stokowski -born in 1950. He left the Vanderbilt family in 1978 after his father's death. "[She] was an extraordinary woman, who loved life, and lived it on her own terms," the CNN anchor said in a statement. Christopher Stokowski is currently single as per reports.
Stokowski rejoined the family in 2016 but in the will Gloria left all the property to Anderson Cooper. Previously, he was engaged to April Sandmeyer.
