Channel 1 has a simple volume and tone control arrangement, while Channel 2 has standard gain, three-band EQ and a master volume, together with Blackstar's familiar ISF control, which continuously varies the EQ network from traditional British to USA response.

Just got he Artist 15 in last week and it's really awesome. For all things relating to guitars, basses, amps, pedals & accessories. I really love the Artist 15. I bought a used Blackstar Artist 15 last week. Joined: May 31, 2012 Location: Los Angeles. The front panel controls are easy to use.

Design and construction appear to be close to a boutique amp. I'm debating buying one because I don't have a proper amp after doing a bunch of trading and selling this past year. Nothing heavy crunch.
Gibby60 Member. I nearly bought one but went for the Vox AC15C1 instead - the Artist ran it close. I am considering buying a Blackstar Artisan 15 combo having tried one at the weekend and being seriously impressed.
Thoughts? The Artist 15 is much subtler imho. Post a reply. Need for playing surf and 50s rock tunes, and the occasional jam session.
I have had a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe for about 10 years. Messages: 736. The Artist 15 uses cathode bias, as opposed to the fixed bias found in the Artist 30.
